Art Camp 504

Embark on an epic fantasy quest from the comfort of your own home! Art Camp 504’s Virtual Dungeons & Dragons class invites young adventurers to explore mysterious lands, battle fierce monsters, solve clever puzzles, and maybe even cause a little chaos along the way—all from the comfort of home. Whether you're a seasoned hero or completely new to the world of tabletop role-playing games, this class is designed to welcome players of all experience levels. Led by an experienced Dungeon Master, students will learn how to create unique characters, work as a team, and use storytelling and strategy to navigate a magical world of their own making. Each session builds on the last, creating an ongoing story filled with action, drama, and laughter. Through this collaborative storytelling experience, students will strengthen their problem-solving skills, boost their creativity, and make new friends—all while having a blast in a safe, supportive environment.

Sessions will be held via Google Meet and Roll20. Roll20 is a free platform for virtual tabletop role-playing; students will need to create a free account prior to the first session.

MEET THE TEACHER:

ADAM LEDET (he/him) is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology's Interactive Media and Game Design program with a bachelor's degree in Game Design and Development. He has professional experience in the video gaming industry as a Game Designer for companies including Second Avenue Learning, where he helped to publish a mobile game; Blizzard Entertainment, where he interned with Hearthstone's Mission Design team; and Noxcrew, where he aided in the design and development of the Minecraft server "MCC Island." Adam is happy to be in his third year participating with Art Camp 504. Adam is a pianist, singer, and thespian who loves to evoke emotions in others through his crafts. Adam's love for Dungeons and Dragons has colored his life, and he is excited to guide new players through the TableTop Role-Playing experience!
