Art Camp 504

Join us for the 2nd Annual Bywater Midsummer Mardi Gras - hosted by our Art Camp 504 students! At the beginning of the week, students vote on a theme and name for their Krewe and will split up into sub-krewes based on their interests. Each sub-krewe makes coordinated costumes, throws, banners and flags. We encourage campers to use recycled materials, old costume pieces, and unordinary objects to create wild shapes and structures. Join our Parade Dance Troupe, help design our bicycle floats, cook food for the concession stand, so much to do to get ready for the big day! Camp culminates in the Bywater Midsummer Mardi Gras Parade - a new event for the whole community to enjoy. The parade rolls at 6:30pm from Markey Park, come out and catch some throws!
